Maxwell 2 years of age Male/Neutered
Felv/Fiv negative
|
|
| pre-surgery, squinting all the time :( |
Maxwell showed up on my parents property as an intact
male tomcat in April 2008. He has been neutered and tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline Aids. He
is a super wonderful guy who will literally throw himself at your feet for attention and some good ol belly scritchens! He
will do fine in an 'any activity' home. He can handle his own with kids or just be a lap sitter, he has a purr motor
like a smooth running old ford truck! Maxwell will be staying with us until his new home is found. He does have a medical condition called Entropion,
the lower eyelids fold inward to the eye. He has had surgery to repair this problem, but with this condition it is not guaranteed
he will not need more surgery in the future. When he showed up at my parents he came with a "this is MY territory"
attitude! so he isn't suggested for households with other cats.

12/2009: No home has been found for sweet Mr.Maxwell. Do you know of someone with no other kitties
that would like to Foster him? We want so badly for this boy to get into a 'home life' situation and out of the boarding area
(although you would not hear him complain of his digs - just come for a tour and see him knock his toys from one end of the
cottage to the next!). Dan and Dave will pay for
his food, litter, toys and Vet care. He just needs a place to hangout that has a couch, a real bed and a loving human.
He is a total character, and your not likely to get much sleep the first couple of nights do to his 'in your face' purring
and kisses!!.
